I set up my business back in 2008 doing home visit tests. Oh how time flies! This is something I still do to this day and I like to think it’s very useful if you find it a struggle to leave your home.  

If you can’t get out and about as much as you like, fear not my friend, myself or my sister (another qualified Optician) or Gus the Audiologist (if you need a hearing test) will come to you, with all of our specialist equipment and the kitchen sink! 

You get a full eye test or hearing test (or both if you wish) including all the health checks. I will even bring a packet of biscuits if you promise to put the kettle on ;-) 

Can You Really Have An Eye Test or Hearing Test In Your Home?

If you are over 60 and struggle to leave your home, relax and I will come to you.

This is one of those amazing services that not many people know about. It is free but there is normally a small call out fee of £20 which covers the Opticians or Audiologists time as it takes longer to do a home-visit.  

It’s a one-off call out fee. If we need to see you again for any adjustments or follow ups these are all covered for the year. 

I love a little excuse to go on a road trip and do a home visit eye test. Often on these eye tests there might be “Countdown” on in the background so please forgive me if I get distracted, I love a good quiz!  

But in all seriousness, if you have not had an eye test or hearing test for a while and you can’t get out, just give one of my friendly team a call and we will arrange everything.
